Masters Degree Programs in Japan

A reputation for innovative engineering, business and technology have combined with Japan's rich culture and heritage to make the country the most popular destination for international study in Asia. Over 150,000 foreign students are enrolled at Japanese universities, many of them on postgraduate programmes.

As a Masters student in Japan you'll benefit from a substantial government incentive to develop the country as an international education hub, with enhanced support structures for foreign students and a growing number offered in English. This will make it even easier for you to access Japan's world-leading expertise in fields such as business management, engineering and consumer technology. Whilst you study for your Masters in Japan you'll also have the chance to experience a beautiful part of Asia, from bustling, high-tech modern cities such as Kyoto and Tokyo to ancient temples and picturesque mountain ranges.

A Masters in Japan takes two years of full-time study, with the academic year running for twelve months from April. Many programmes will be offered in English, but Japanese lessons will also be available at most universities and graduate schools. A Japanese embassy in your home country will be able to assist you in acquiring a visa to study in Japan.
