This programme allows students to gain an understanding of entrepreneurship in an international context. It is designed for students who are interested in becoming entrepreneurs. It is ideal for those who are currently in a junior management position or wish to follow a career in management and are aiming at a future entrepreneurial role. It is also suitable for students interested in moving into a management role from other backgrounds or currently working in a support role. Subjects studied include: Corporate Entrepreneurship, Risk Management, Strategy and Leadership, Social Entrepreneurship and Finance and Accounting for Entrepreneurs
The course is taught over two semesters, a total of twelve subjects/course titles; sample subjects as follows: Family Firms Strategy and Business Planning Managing Growth Mergers and Acquisitions Financing the Entrepreneurial Venture Small Business and Entrepreneurship Asian Businesses Managing Projects Project
They must at least have a first degree (three or four year degree) with a basic management knowledge. The Degree does not need to be particularly subject related as long as the students previous statement reflects his/her needs for change, no work experience is required
