Course specialises in advanced electronic design and test using H.P. software and advanced embedded system design using VHDL programming and FPGA’s. Also studied are advanced variable drives and power electronics. MATLAB is utilised in advanced control systems. Advanced CAD systems are modelled through the use of Multisim/Ultiboard and Fluent. Research will include; Power Conversion systems for renewable generation. Dynamical System modelling of Hybrid Power Generation, CAN Automotive Applications, Embedded Control used Mechcatronics Robot FGPA Design IEEE control of ATE systems of remote Instrumentation and PIC programming using MPLAB. Power Factor Correction design using DSP and MATLAB.
