MA/PgD/PgC Leading and Delivering Effective Integrated Care

Course Description

The MA Leading and Delivering Effective Integrated Care is designed for health professionals who wish to develop and enhance their professional practice, leadership and self-development in accordance with NHS values to gain confidence and competence in evaluating and disseminating ‘best practice’ to ensure clinical effectiveness and lead innovation in practice.
This course continues to respond to a growing need for health and social care practitioners to meet current policy agendas. Thus the essential task is to nurture a coterie of leaders and practitioners who can deliver lean and smart services to local communities. It provides a platform from which students can develop a comprehensive range of skills. Work-based learning is a central component of the course to facilitate reflexivity on practice and role development. It enables students to build their own unique learning experience to realise ambition, progress career and employment prospects and exit the course with a real sense of mastery in their area of professional practice.
