Graduate Certificate in International Health

Course Description

The Graduate Certificate in International Health is a one-semester course of study that enables you to develop your knowledge and skills in international health.

You will study a combination of units, which are based on current knowledge and practice in international health. These units help you to acquire knowledge and skills for planning, managing and delivering appropriate health programs and services throughout the world.

When you successfully complete this program, you may apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma in International Health, or the Master of International Health, depending on your academic performance.

Credit for previous study

Applications for recognition of prior learning (RPL) are assessed on an individual basis. Recognition of prior learning may be granted to applicants with relevant work experience and prior postgraduate study.

Entry Requirements

A bachelor degree or equivalent. Selection is based on academic background. You should include your curricumlum vitae, details of referees, certified copies of academic qualifications and a brief statement of your specific interests in international health (maximum 250 words) with your application. Minimum English language entry requirements: IELTS Writing- 6.0, Speaking- 6.0, Reading- 6.0, Listening- 6.0, Overall band score- 6.5.
