Master of Health Administration

Course Description

This course builds on the graduate diploma to include additional specialist topics of your choice. You will also undertake two individual research projects under the guidance of an experienced supervisor.

This course can develop your theoretical knowledge in health policy management. It is designed to build the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in senior planning, policy, management, and leadership positions in health organisations.

You can choose from a range of specialised topics in health planning, health management, leadership, health policy, quality and safety, and economics. You also have the option to study the course as a research or coursework degree.

Credit for previous study

Applications for recognition of prior learning (RPL) are assessed on an individual basis. Recognition of prior learning equivalent to the first year may be awarded to applicants with the Graduate Diploma in Health Administration.

Entry Requirements

A bachelor degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline plus work experience in health administration. Applicants without the required qualifications and work experience may be required to undertake additional bridging units. Minimum English language entry requirements: IELTS Writing- 6.0, Speaking- 6.0, Reading- 6.0, Listening- 6.0, Overall band score- 6.5.
