Master of Urban and Regional Planning


Course Description

This course will provide you with a professionally accredited planning qualification. It is designed for people who hold a degree in a discipline other than planning, but who want to enter the planning profession. You will learn the theory of planning approvals and are introduced to planning laws. Your practical skills are developed by participating in real planning projects and engaging with industry.

Professional recognition

This course satisfies the academic requirements for corporate membership with the Planning Institute of Australia.

Credit for previous study

Applications for recognition of prior learning (RPL) are assessed on an individual basis.

Entry Requirements

A bachelor degree in any discipline relevant to urban and regional planning. Minimum English language entry requirements: IELTS Writing- 6.0, Speaking- 6.0, Reading- 6.0, Listening- 6.0, Overall band score- 6.5.
