Graduate Certificate in Mineral and Energy Economics


Course Description

This course will provide you with an introduction to economic, financial and management issues important to the mineral and energy sectors. You will choose from a range of coursework units and tailor your studies to suit your professional needs and interests.

Applications for recognition of prior learning (RPL) are assessed on an individual basis.

Notes

It is available as a part-time program in a combination of intensive course work modules and normal semester classwork which may be taken either as an internal or external student. Students normally enter the program during first semester each year. Depending upon previous experience, qualifications and background, students may be required to undertake foundation units in economics and accounting as part of the course.

Entry Requirements

A bachelor degree or equivalent plus at least two years' work experience. Depending on your previous experience, qualifications and background, you may be required to complete additional foundation units in economics and accounting. Minimum English language entry requirements: IELTS Writing- 6.0, Speaking- 6.0, Reading- 6.0, Listening- 6.0, Overall band score- 6.5.
