Our MSc in Marketing & Creativity is a unique programme offering all the elements of a high-level Master in Marketing programme and an innovative approach which places creativity at its very core.
This is an 18-month course, the majority of which is based at the London campus. The final term takes place at our Paris campus. During the eight months of the taught portion of the programme, participants benefit from considerable project work thanks to the marketing consultancy projects. The programme ends with a 16-week industry internship and the submission of a master thesis.
Students are presented with an inspiring curriculum which not only covers all aspects of marketing strategy, but also draws upon film, music, architecture, fashion and more to demonstrate how intrinsically linked the creative arts have become to today’s most successful marketing campaigns.
Some of the modules taught on the course include: • Art and science of creativity • Financial Skills for Marketers • Consumers and Consumer Value • Breakthrough Strategies, Business Analysis and Planning • Branding and the Creation of Value • Marketing of Innovations • Value Creation through Product Management • Integrated Marketing Communications • Digital Marketing and Social Media • Creativity in Managing Business Relationships • Managing Trends and Talents
Specialist seminars on fashion, design, architecture, film, music, language, art, theatre and advertising are included thanks to our partnerships with UK and European beacons of creativity. Students benefit from studying in London, one of the recognised centres of creative excellence, as well as from the support of the School’s outstanding world-class faculty.
As we believe in the value of practical application, our students’ learning experience extends far beyond the lecture hall. With close links to industry leaders, ESCP Europe provides the opportunity to take on a 4-month professional internship and apply the newly-found skills in the workplace. Our MSc in Marketing & Creativity students also work on live company consultancy projects, during which teams of students are briefed by a corporate client and provide solutions and proposals therein.
Tuition fees for the academic year 2016/17 are set at £18,500, payable in three instalments.
Partial scholarships based on merit and financial needs are available to MSc in Marketing & Creativity students.
After graduating from my Bachelor degree in Media Management in 2010, I did not yet feel prepared enough to begin applying for jobs. In addition to this and the poor economic situation, the cultural and film sector in which I gained professional experience during my studies is highly competitive. This is why I decided enter a Master programme instead.
Besides the Master in Marketing and Creativity at ESCP Europe, I applied to different Media Management master programmes in the UK and Germany. Although I had the choice, I accepted the place at ESCP Europe in the end because I hope that a Master in Marketing and Creativity will give me a new perspective and a broader academic horizon in addition to my media background.
Having completed several internships in a range of creative industries, this subject within the MMK interested me the most; a 'traditional' marketing program probably would not have included this topic. I also like that ESCP Europe's programme has a strong practical orientation, with lots of group projects and case studies. Not to mention the opportunity to study in London and Paris, two cities known as major cultural centres!
At the time of writing, I just have completed my first term of the programme. I’ve loved the professors, the content and the diversity of my class, who come from many different cultural, professional and academic backgrounds.
I am very happy with my choice and I’m confident that I will find a job that inspires me after finishing my studies.
