See the website http://www.anglia.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/networking

Our course consists of a single 12-week module designed to boost your knowledge and skills in network development. It’ll cover the areas that you’ll need to take the Cisco CCNA exam and gain a globally recognised Certified Network Associate qualification.

You’ll cover the basics of network routing, switching and advanced technologies and gain skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration and practical application. Study by distance learning using our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and our remote physical lab (NETLAB).

With access to a wide range of hardware, software and Cisco systems in our computer labs, you’ll develop a thorough understanding of how network technologies work in practice and an awareness of current and future trends in the industry.

By passing our course successfully you’ll have the option to progress onto our MSc Network Security course taught on our Chelmsford campus.

A recent study conducted by International Data Corporation on the state of the Digital Universe concluded that the number of qualified networking professionals will grow by 50% in the next decade, and that the volume of data will grow by as much as 5000%.

It’s impossible to overestimate the importance of experts trained to keep information secure within businesses. Roles such as network engineer or manager, analyst and consultant will be open to you.

We’ll assess your progress through a combination of practical demonstrations and reports.
