Professional Doctorate in Business and Management DBA

Course Description

Our rigorous professional doctorate programme gives you the opportunity and resources to explore key issues you and your organisation face – and to take the lead on developing solutions, innovations and improvements. You can choose to study part-time, while continuing to work.

Here at Lord Ashcroft International Business School, industry professionals, academic specialists and students collaborate on research and teaching programmes.

The knowledge we generate furthers academic understanding, while providing real value to our industry partners. It’s very much in this spirit that we've created our Professional Doctorate in Business and Management.

During stage one of the programme, you’ll refine your research proposals and skills during a series of weekend workshops, while researching and writing academic papers as the basis for your portfolio. Moving on to stage two, you’ll research and develop your dissertation, with extensive support from our experienced academic staff and practitioners in the field.

Our strong links with industry provide excellent opportunities for research studies, and if you choose to study part-time while working, you can use your own workplace as the focus for your dissertation.
