Human Resource Management (CIPD - day release) (PG Dip)

Course Description

Progress your HR career while fitting your studies around work and home commitments with our ‘day release’ course. Our postgraduate qualification is recognised by the Chartered Institute of Personal Development (CIPD) and held by HR professionals around the world.

See the website http://www.anglia.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/human-resource-management-cipd-day-release

If you’re aspiring to be an effective HR practitioner – whether you're working as a manager or consultant in a generalist or specialist role – this is the must-have qualification. It will allow you to develop your understanding of organisations and the changing environment in which HR teams operate. Using critical analysis, self-reflection and problem-solving techniques, you’ll learn how to develop and implement creative, strategic plans that drive organisational performance.

You’ll study part-time while continuing to work, coming to campus once a week and using our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) at other times. You can choose to study with us in Cambridge, Chelmsford or Peterborough.

Our students register as associate members of CIPD, and enjoy exclusive access to journals, reports, time-saving resources, library services, as well as professional development guidance and networking opportunities. Once you’re in work, you’ll be able to upgrade to full membership.

Here at Lord Ashcroft International Business School, we have over 25 years’ experience of delivering CIPD qualifications and a high achievement rate: 100% of our MA Human Resource Management graduates are in work or further study six months after graduating (DLHE, 2014). So by studying with us, we think you have the best chance of success.

Please note: if you've achieved the CIPD Professional Development Standards in the last five years, or the Advanced Diploma Standards, or the Anglia Ruskin Postgraduate Diploma in HRM on the block or part-time route, you can top-up your award to progress to the MA in Human Resource Management by undertaking two modules focusing your international and global understanding alongside a dissertation.

For immediate progression to the full-time MA in Human Resource Management programme in Cambridge, you have the option of undertaking Global HRM and a Masters dissertation at completion of your award.

Cambridge: Monday 1-7pm
Chelmsford: Monday 1-7pm
University Centre Peterborough: Wednesday 2-9pm
