The MScBA in Accounting & Control programme deals with the core issue of management: the economic viability of an organisation. You will gain an in-depth understanding of major financial decisions made within organisations from economic and managerial perspectives, the role of accounting information in evaluating managerial or company performance, and motivating managers to make decisions aligned with company goals.
Addressing a variety of issues facing accounting experts such as public accountants, controllers and financial managers, the programme includes preparing, auditing, analysing and using financial and non-financial data for decision-making and evaluation purposes, international regulations, corporate governance requirements, security valuation, and international performance management. You will learn how to structure and administrate processes to be compliant with legal, regulatory and governance codes and to provide adequate information to shareholders and managers.
Bachelor or undergraduate degree from a research university in Business Administration; Advanced knowledge of business related quantitative and qualitative research methods and statistics; GPA equivalent to a 7 out of 10 in the Dutch education system; English Proficiency: IELTS: 6.5 +; TOEFL: 90+ (internet based), 575+ (paper based); 233+ (computer based); Common European Framework level C1, Cambridge CPE or CAE; GMAT: Minimum score of 600; Motivation letter: Explain your reasons for applying to the programme of your choice
