Build on your existing degree in IT, computer engineering or electronic engineering with this two-year Master's qualification, equipping you to work in a range of roles. There are currently more jobs than qualified people in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector, with roles in management, research and development, relating to engineering software, hardware and networks.
Central to this degree are the hands-on projects that make up the core subjects. You'll work with a team to develop either an industry or an information technology (IT) project. The industry projects involve the planning and development of a medium-sized software project, giving you experience in project management, estimation and planning, documentation and reporting and the technical aspects of software engineering. The IT project focuses on the development of a small-scale industry-bases system developed for efficiency, portability and re-use. You'll learn system design, implementation, testing and documentation skills as well as teamwork.
It's possible to fast-track this two-year degree by studying four subjects each semester, rather than three, enabling you to take your skills to the job market in only 18 months. Opportunities to study overseas include student exchange programs with our partner universities in over 30 countries.
