M.Sc Research


Course Description

The project involves assessment of the correlation between sensor data and laboratory-based data for a range of routinely analysed parameters of water quality. The research work will involve sampling and analysis, sensor-based environmental monitoring, field studies and related work.
The candidate will work as part of a team of researchers and an industrial partner and will be based at DCU.

A suitable candidate will have a BSc in chemistry, analytical science, environmental science, marine science or related discipline with a keen interest in fieldwork. Funding for this project is for 18 months -this includes a bursary and academic fees.
