The Graduate Certificate in Destination Development program focuses on the foundations for destination planning and branding, strategic marketing, e-marketing, product innovation and niche market development. The program examines critical issues and opportunities facing individuals and organizations in developing tourism destinations.
Successful program graduates will be eligible to apply for advanced standing in the MA in Tourism Management. A portion of the tuition is waived.
Standard Admission - Four year arts or science undergraduate degree. Normally, minimum five years experience in the tourism or hospitality industry. Flexible Admission - To be considered for Flexible Admission, applicants would normally require a minimum of 10 years related experience, with some at a senior level.
