The Graduate Certificate in Environmental Education and Communication is a leadership program that focuses on developing the competency and skill of educators and communicators who have an interest in, or responsibility for presenting environmental information to audiences.
This interdisciplinary program will build theoretical and practical knowledge and skills. The program will provide solid grounding in environmental studies and sustainability, learning theory, environmental education, educational program development, philosophical and cultural analysis, journalism and communications.
Standard Admission - Four year (or equivalent) arts/science undergraduate degree, minimum two years of related full-time experience in the field of environmental education and/or communication. Flexible Admission - To be considered for Flexible Admission, applicants would normally require a minimum two years related full-time experience in the field of environmental education and/or communication.
