This program is a graduate degree of interdisciplinary study in either the Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MSc) designed to enhance strategic decision making in the environmental field. The program emphasizes teamwork and focuses on technical, policy, and system and sustainability issues to prepare students to become environmental professionals who are effective leaders and managers. The program is offered through a combination of two, three-week and one, one-week on campus residencies and two terms of distance online courses. The program can be completed in approximately two years.
Standard Admission - Four year arts/science undergraduate degree. Normally, a minimum three years of related full-time experience working with environmental issues. Flexible Admission - To be considered for Flexible Admission, applicants would normally require a minimum of three years of related full-time experience working with environmental issues, and a combination of post-secondary and professional accredited qualifications.
