The MA in Intercultural and International Communication is designed for students who want to pursue their careers in intercultural or international communication. Graduates will gain the skills necessary to communicate effectively in diverse and complex circumstances making use of diverse media and communication genres, and engaging different audiences across multiple cultural settings. The program is delivered in two formats; as an 18-month on-campus program and as a two-year blended model, incorporating online learning with on-campus residencies.
Standard admission - four-year undergraduate degree in a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution and one year of work experience in a leadership capacity. This work experience should have been in a multicultural, intercultural, or international setting and fostered a understanding of intercultural communication. Sufficient knowledge, skills and abilities to complete a demanding academic course of study at a master's level must be proven.Flexible admission - applicants evidence they have the sufficient knowledge, skills and abilities to complete a academic course of study at a master's level and have significant professional communication experience.
