Designer in Bioprocess Engineering


Course Description

The multidisciplinary programme provides knowledge of the biological and chemical sciences, mathematics, physical chemistry, chemical and physical engineering and techno-economical sciences. Students develop and apply an independent attitude, a critical approach, creativity and focus on innovative applications of biotechnology. They integrate biotechnological base disciplines, together with environmental, safety, health, quality and sustainability aspects, and take into account the technological and economical feasibility and reliability. They contribute to the development of new (applications of) processes, products or process-modes and is able to evaluate different process options, including their (modes of) control. Selected designers become salaried employees of TU Delft.

Entry Requirements

MSc degree in (Bio-)Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or a related discuipline with excellent results.
