Process and Equipment Design

Course Description

This advanced level programme trains and educates MSc graduates to become certified designers, capable of designing "fit for purpose" and "first of its kind" products, processes and equipment. It encourages to actively look beyond the perimeters of your own discipline and to recognise the challenges and restrictions imposed by product chain management, environment, time and money. In addition there is the possibility to specialize in the design of catalysts applied in the chemical and petroleum industry. It provides a much-wanted alternative to the more fundamental, research orientated PhD studies. Selected designers become salaried employees of TU Delft.
