The MBA builds on current thinking in management education to develop critical thinkers with effective problem solving skills. Core modules explore and critically examine key business and management fundamentals, equipping you with the ability to think conceptually and holistically.
First year core modules include:

The course incorporates personal reflective learning and a dissertation. Constructed in block study format, with the needs of busy managers in mind.
MBA graduates from the programme work in management role in organisations such as Rolls-Royce, DHL, Samworth Brothers, Snap-On Tools, NHS, EDF, Landis+Gyr, Kuehne and Nagel, GfK, 3M, National Audit Office, NHS, Nissan, Babcock International Group, National Grid, Jaguar Land Rover.
You should hold a good honours degree or overseas equivalent in any subject. You should have a minimum of two years’ management experience. f you have a postgraduate diploma in management studies, or equivalent, there is the possibility of being accredited for prior learning and joining the course in the second year. f English is not your first language, an IELTS score of 6.5 (including a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or equivalent is normally required. English language tuition is available at DMU both before and during the course, if required.
