The emphasis is on providing students with the skills to undertake research and develop professional careers in a wide range of subjects related to the field of environmental studies; water, energy and environment. There is a growing need for environmental specialists with specific consultancy skills - who are increasingly being asked to provide consultant support to a shrinking public sector.
Candidates must possess, or be expected to achieve, a First or Second class UK Honours degree or an MSc in a relevant science, engineering or related discipline, or the international equivalent of these UK qualifications. Other relevant qualifications, together with significant experience, may be considered.
