Jason Boyce

1946.jpg It was just over 11 years since finished my undergraduate course, so it was slightly daunting to start the MBA programme in Construction and Real Estate as a distance learning course at the College of Estate Management. Once I started the course and navigated my way through the VLE platform, I became more comfortable with the course and the concept of distance learning.

I am a Real Estate professional but a result of the MBA programme I now have a realisation that all organisations are involved in strategic and financial planning, budgeting, and change management at some point during their lifecycle. As a general business qualification, the MBA is designed to appeal to managers from all sectors, and it is clear that there are huge benefits gained from investing in business and management training.

The course structure is logical and guides you through the business world and the coursework allows you draw on and understand the decision making processes of businesses. I have started to analyse corporate situations differently and I can unequivocally say that I am using the knowledge from the course in my everyday business life.

I would recommend the MBA programme to any management based professional in the Real Estate industry and I firmly believe studying on the CEM MBA programme has made a difference to both, my professional and personal life.
