The Graduate Certificate in Retrieval Medicine is designed to equip you with advanced skills and knowledge of critical care and emergency medicine which focuses on retrieval medicine. The program is available for medical practitioners, nurses and paramedics already working in, or planning to work in this unique and challenging field.

- Scholarship available for Graduate Certificate in Retrieval Medicine
Open to successful applicants applying for a Graduate Certificate in Retrieval Medicine for September 2015, the Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship provides high achieving individuals with a unique opportunity to receive 25% tuition remission to complete postgraduate studies at Bond University. Delivered in partnership with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the world’s largest aeromedical provider, the Graduate Certificate in Retrieval Medicine focuses on current and future retrieval systems and evidence based approaches within both an Australian and international context.

The program is structured to accommodate the busy health professional. Delivered in part-time mode, it combines intensive practical residential components with online delivery that enables networking opportunities.

The residential components are held as a compulsory 3 to 4 day intensive per semester. They will include case-based discussions and hands-on immersive learning sessions where technical and physical aspects of retrieval medicine will be covered. Topics will range from helicopter (rotary wing), fixed wing, ground and common retrieval equipment familiarisation through to pre-hospital critical care skills sessions. You will engage in ‘real world’ scenarios and simulation demonstrating retrieval medicine in action. Intense, small group interactive case-based discussions also play a role in the residential component and online learning throughout the semester.

The Graduate Certificate in Retrieval Medicine enables you to matriculate into the Graduate Diploma in Retrieval Medicine and the Masters of Retrieval Medicine.

The Graduate Certificate in Retrieval Medicine is available for medical practitioners, nurses and paramedics and designed to produce high quality graduates with advanced practical skills and theoretical knowledge to be well positioned to further their careers in retrieval medicine.

Please note: This program is currently only open to Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, holders of an Australian Humanitarian visa and New Zealand citizens (but not New Zealand permanent residents).

As tuition is delivered in English, all students will be required to provide documented evidence of the required level of proficiency in the English language.
