Designed in collaboration with the industry, our Masters covers all topics essential for a successful leadership career in today’s fast-moving and competitive banking arena.
With the busy banking professional in mind, our programme is delivered entirely online giving you flexibility in terms of where and how you study.
By covering topics of most critical importance and relevance to the banking sector, you will be able to apply your knowledge to new, complex and unpredictable circumstances, thereby differentiating yourself from your peers.
A cohort experience
Masters students progress through the programme as a distinct cohort, providing increased opportunities for peer interaction and team-building.
The Head of Postgraduate Programmes will be your main point of contact offering advice, guidance and tailored support on all non-academic matters such as navigating your studies, dealing with changing circumstances and taking a break from the programme.
Your online learning experience
As an online distance learning student, you will be encouraged to become part of the programme’s vibrant learning community from day one. You will be supported by a programme team comprising a mix of highly experienced, senior industry practitioners and traditional academics from the world of banking and financial services.
Online discussion forums and webinars ensure that you never feel too distant from us or your peers and there are frequent opportunities for individual tutorials with your module lecturer.
“The ifs attracts an extremely high calibre of students. As such, you can learn a huge amount from each other. On my course, there is a Head of Credit, a Head of Risk, an investment banker – all from different organisations. The learning opportunities are incredible.”
"I would definitely recommend the programme to anyone who aspires to move into senior management or executive roles. It gives much more of an industry-specific focus than an MBA would and leaves you with a rounded education in the financial sector."
“Having studied previously towards a BSc with the ifs, taking this forward into an MSc was a natural choice to continue my development. The ifs is a professionally run organisation with a very clear focus on its stakeholders. I am not aware of any other organisation that is so closely aligned to developing and delivering increased professionalism in banking.”
