Course Description

Each year over two million people suffer from a disease or condition which affects the brain, including dementia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, infarctions, tumours, epilepsy, addiction, schizophrenia, and anxiety and mood disorders. If you opt for the Master’s programme in Neurosciences at VU University Amsterdam (the Netherlands), you will help push back the boundaries of our knowledge and develop strategies for treating and possibly even preventing these afflictions.

Entry Requirements

You can gain access to the Master's programme in Neurosciences with a university Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences or Psychology
