Master's programme in Geoarchaeology


Course Description

As a qualified geoarchaeologist, you will apply modern techniques in order to understand what ancient techniques were available to produce the objects found. Many archaeological finds are buried, so a knowledge of the soil is essential to understanding them in the correct context. A Master’s programme is required to gain the extensive experience of detection and excavation techniques that you need if you are going to literally dig into this subject.
