Master's programme in Ecology

Course Description

Ecology at VU University Amsterdam (the Netherlands) occupies a unique position, as here we study ecology from a plant, animal and systems perspective. Moreover, ecological properties are determined starting at molecular level (i.e. looking at which genes trigger an organism’s response to environmental stress) and from field knowledge. Field observations are used to extract ecosystems’ patterns and functions.
