Ecocatch - Ecological management of Catchments in Europe


Course Description

The catchment – an area that is drained by a river – is the basic unit for planning of sustainable management of water resources since the Water Framework Directive (WFD) has been adopted by EU. Hence, there is urgent need for professionals handling the implementation of the WFD.
The European Master Programme ‘Ecocatch’ will give you this expertise!
You will get acquainted with the various environmental conditions prevailing in different parts of Europe and learn to integrate the effects of all different ecosystems that the water passes through on the way from the source to the sea. More info: www.ecocatch.eu
