Aims of the course

Postgraduate work in Economic and Social History is devoted essentially to research and the preparation of dissertations. The length of the MSc is one year.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the MSc, students must have a first degree at good honours standard (ie at least upper second class, or its equivalent). The subject of the first degree must be appropriate to the intended subject of research and should normally include courses in economics and/or economic and social history.
