Sports Therapy MSc

Course Description

The MSc Sports Therapy delivers a professional qualification combined with an academic award. The course is accredited by The Society of Sports Therapists.

The course offers qualified graduates the opportunity to develop their academic knowledge, skills and qualifications in order to enhance their careers and become effective and reflective practitioners in Sports Therapy.

The course combines study of the underpinning theory, skills acquisition and development linked to the current evidence base, and work-based practice to consider contemporary issues and professional practice within Sports Therapy. Students are encouraged to adopt an inter– and multi-disciplinary approach that draws on a broad range of sources.

Entry Requirements

2:1 classification in a Sport/ Exercise Science or related degree. Applicants who hold a sport related degree classification 2:2 or below, or a non-sport related degree will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Knowledge in the disciplines of Sports & Exercise Sciences is expected.
