MSc Nutritional Therapy

Course Description

Research is proving that nutrition is of fundamental importance to health; this is echoed in the political health agenda in both hospitals and schools, and within the wider community.

Prevention of ill-health by sound nutrition and other lifestyle changes is being seen as the way forward to decreasing many degenerative diseases. Nutritional therapy is contributing to health improvement not only as a preventative strategy, but also as a treatment therapy in its own right.

The course will facilitate practitioners to provide nutritional advice through the use of food as a therapeutic tool, along with nutri-ceutical prescription and lifestyle advice.
