Course Description

The course will provide a framework for delivery of GCSE and AS/A2 Film Studies and Media suitable for relevant examination boards (including OCR, AQA,WJEC).

Research, Writing, Referencing: Routes to Postgraduate Academic Success

It examines issues involved in the design and execution of a research programme including aspects of academic writing and referencing, as well as preparing funding bids for research, conference proposals/papers and book proposals.

This course also aims to develop an awareness of the theoretical and methodological dimensions of independent research and to consider the scope and limitations of appropriate theoretical and methodological approaches, both disciplinary and inter-disciplinary.
