The MA Hospitality Management aims to enhance employability prospects in the Hospitality Industry for graduates and/or those with recent relevant professional experience.
Successful study on this course means that you will develop a range of cognitive, intellectual, personal and interpersonal skills combined with knowledge about the hospitality industry.
The course provides a contextual knowledge base from which you can interpret relevant concepts and theories and develop ideas in order to solve complex problems within hospitality organisations. You will be developing research skills for both academic and professional projects and reports in a range of contexts that will reflect your interests.
You will need a good degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent in a related discipline. Those applying from non-hospitality related disciplines may be required to study a range of level 6 modules before being accepted onto the Masters award. Candidates with significant relevant work experience and related qualifications are encouraged to apply. International students are required to have IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. For those international students who do not meet these requirements in terms of qualification or English, we recommend that you consider applying for our Pre-Masters in Hospitality Management.
