Training to be a legal executive offers a flexible and accessible route to a career as a lawyer. You can start on the CILEX course at one of a number of different levels, depending on your qualifications. These range from graduates who can take a one-year Fast-Track Diploma, to those with few formal qualifications who can start at Level 3. At Westminster we cater for all the different routes that you might want to take.
Our lectures and seminars are delivered by seasoned legal professionals with industry experience, drawn from the ranks of academics, solicitors and barristers. We use a range of teaching methods to facilitate different styles of learning. As a University, the learning resources at the School of Law are first class,, research support and well-trained library staff. Our IT resources are not confined to the University premises; our subscription to online materials allows you to access these materials remotely, from your home.
On all levels of the CILEX course you will receive pastoral care and regular access to a personal tutor. This is in addition to the guided tuition described below, and will help to ensure that you achieve your full potential on the course.
