Management by Project has become the leading way of maintaining a competitive edge in most industries and businesses. These projects range from fashion, marketing, construction, and IT, to the more traditional construction based projects. Increasingly many companies are using these techniques to manage major changes made to organisations. Projects and Project Management (PM) have become an integral part of the modern business environment, ensuring that any change is organised in a professional manner that increases its chances of success. It is now very difficult to find an organisation that does not have a number of projects running concurrently, either within individual departments or across the organisation. In many organisations both public and private sector having a qualification in PM is a requirement. The management of these projects requires a new set of tested skills and a body of knowledge that the Project Management MSc is designed to deliver.
