Introduction to Management in Health Service Organisations (Postgraduate Award)

Course Description

An intensive post-experiential course in core management skills geared towards the needs of professionals working within health care whose management responsibilities may range from managing themselves, a team, a practice, a department or a locality.
-Designed by Warwick Medical School in collaboration with the internationally acclaimed Warwick Business School, this course should appeal to all clinicians and social care professionals who have managerial responsibilities.
-Lectures, guided reading, structured debate, simulation and group exercises will support your learning throughout this module. You will be encouraged to draw upon your own experiences and to apply these during the sessions.

Entry Requirements

Candidates must satisfy the Board of Graduate Studies’ requirements for entry. Normally, candidates should have obtained an honours degree or a final qualification of a professional society acceptable to the University. Candidates will also be considered if they have other appropriate professional qualifications and at least two years experience in an appropriate healthcare setting.
