Critical Care: Pre-Hospital Special Incident Management (Postgraduate Award)


Course Description

Gain a theoretical framework for the acquisition of a range of clinical skills relevant to the primary emergency clinical setting.

These skills will support you in the safe indentification and management of a range of clinical conditions where specific interventions are required in order to maximise the clinical outcome.

The skills will be supported by the relevant theoretical concepts and knowledge.

Please note: Teaching may be facilitated off-site on one of the study days, if required.

Entry Requirements

Candidates must satisfy the Board of Graduate Studies’ requirements for entry. Normally, candidates should have obtained an honours degree or a final qualification of a professional society acceptable to the University. Candidates will also be considered if they have other appropriate professional qualifications and at least two years experience in an appropriate healthcare setting.
