This programme is dedicated to healthcare professionals working with children and adolescents with diabetes. It aims to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to provide high quality care for your young patients and support for their parents or carers. The flexible, modular structure allows you to study over a period suited to your own professional needs and circumstances.
Taught by experts from Warwick Medical School in diabetes, child education, child advocacy and mental health, this is an interactive programme in which you will learn through seminars, group work and individual study.
Not sure a Masters is for you?
You can gain a Postgraduate Certificate (PCert) (60 CATS), a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) (120 CATS), or go on to complete the full Masters degree (MSc) (180 CATS)
All students need to have a first degree or equivalent. They also need to have current registration as a healthcare professional alongside two years’ post-registration experience in diabetes and paediatrics. Applicants with nursing or other professional qualifications and an appropriate level of experience will also be considered.
