The Postgraduate Diploma/MA in Modern Irish is a natural extension of the range of courses already offered at UU. UU is the largest provider of ab initio and undergraduate courses in Irish in Northern Ireland and, as such, the Postgraduate Diploma/MA complements that provision. Students who have taken up places on this course have done so for reasons of personal development, particularly where graduates have wished to extend the range of their knowledge and expertise beyond primary degree level.
