Interdisciplinary Dementia Studies PgDip/MSc


Course Description

This programme, the first PgDip/MSc in dementia studies developed in Ireland, will be of interest to all professionals working in the area of dementia care. It aims to enhance the quality of care of clients and families. The programme offers the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of policy, practice and research in dementia and, in doing so, gain a recognised and valuable qualification without the need to attend university.

You will be taught by a teaching team with a vast range of expertise in all aspects of dementia care. As it is an interdisciplinary programme, you will benefit from being able to collaborate and share insights with professionals working in other branches of health and social care.

Entry Requirements

students should have an honours degree in a relevant health or social care profession. Graduates with less than a first or upper second class honours degree are normally interviewed.
