Master of Surgery (Surgical Outcomes)

Course Description

The Master of Surgery at Sydney Medical School is designed to complement the practical experience you obtain through the hospital based training program of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

The course is a combination of coursework and research.

This stream is designed for those who are interested in surgical research and measurement of health outcomes. You will undertake a research project on this topic and report the findings in a dissertation. In addition you will be required to undertake one core Unit of Study (PUBH5018 Introductory Biostatistics) and a minimum of 4 elective Units of Study.
