Master of Surgery (Surgical Anatomy)

Course Description

The Master of Surgery at Sydney Medical School is designed to complement the practical experience you obtain through the hospital based training program of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

This stream is coursework based and designed to enable students to undertake a whole body dissection course comprising 4 Units of Study. These 4 units must be undertaken en block over a period of 3 months full time enrolment. The intensity of the course is such that no simultaneous clinical employment is compatible or allowed. In addition you will be required to undertake one core Unit of Study (PUBH5018 – Introductory Biostatistics) and 3 elective Units of Study.
