Corruption, Law and Governance

Course Description

Corruption damages economic development and the health of civil society, nationally and intrenationally.

This LLM – delivered in Qatar, with a particular focus on the problems being encountered in the Arabian Gulf region – gives you a thorough understanding of the latest develpments in the study of corruption and prepares you to take a leading role in the struggle against corruption.

Recent research has helped create means to address corruption, through law, policy and governance strategies. You gain an overview of these legislative and regulatory solutions to confront and eradicate the rapidly changing forms of corrupt practices at national and international levels.

Entry Requirements

A first- or upper second-class undergraduate honours degree in law or a relevant subject (such as international relations, political science, history, criminology, criminal justice or sociology) but applicants from other backgrounds may be considered
