The new MSc in Sustainability Leadership has been designed in response to the growing relevance of embedding sustainable practice into business and public sector decision making.
This MSc is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of sustainability and its implications for leading the necessary change and innovation across the different sectors in society. It addresses the need for leadership capacity building to enable the business and social agenda for sustainable development.
The course recognises the multifaceted nature of sustainability and the complexity of the relationships between environmental, societal and economic systems. It integrates knowledge in environmental science, business and management with the need for sustainable development, innovation and leadership.
This course will enable students to challenge current leadership models and encourage them to create new more sustainable futures.
Students on the course will:
-Acquire knowledge, skills and experience for a successful career in sustainable development roles.
-Develop an in-depth understanding of the complexities of sustainable development and the opportunities and challenges for the environment, society and economy.
-Enhance capabilities and confidence for leading the sustainable development agenda across different sectors in society.
-Acquire knowledge, skills and experience for envisioning new more sustainable futures, enacting change and driving innovation.
-Enhance and develop critical, analytical, interpersonal and other transferable skills for sustainable leadership.

INTO University of Stirling
offers a Graduate Diploma for those students who do not meet the required criteria for this course. If you successfully complete the Graduate Diploma in Business, Finance and Sport and meet the required progression grades, you will be guaranteed entry onto this Master's degree.
If English is not your first language you must have one of the following qualifications as evidence of your English language skills:
-IELTS: 6.0 with 5.5 minimum in each skill.
-Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): Grade C.
-Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE): Grade C.
-Pearson Test of English (Academic): 54 with 51 in each component.
-IBT TOEFL: 80 with no subtest less than 17.
