This course covers aspects of engineering acoustics, structural dynamics, applied digital signal processing, biomedical signal processing and human effects of sound and vibration. It is taught at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research (ISVR), a world-leading centre for acoustical engineering. No prior knowledge of acoustics is required.
First or upper second-class honours degree or equivalent in engineering, science or mathematics.Applicants with a lower-second class Bachelor’s honours degree are considered only if evidence can be provided for the development of skills and capabilities beyond the degree, such as 2-years of relevant and appropriate work experience and training.
