Entry Requirements

Applicants should possess at least a UK lower second class honours degree (2:2) or equivalent in bioscience, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacy medicine or related subject.

I came to Salford from India to study Analytical Bioscience & Drug Design. I learnt a lot at the University which I can’t forget throughout my life - the education is really good, with friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful tutors. I made very good relationships with all the staff and made very good friends. All the modules are very interesting and you will learn a wide range of new techniques.

I am now working at the Medical Research Council undertaking human nutrition research in Cambridge. We are developing biomarkers in nutrition related diseases under the Cambridge Lipidomics Biomarker Research Initiative.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be applying for the first year of full-time study on an eligible postgraduate master’s programme in the 2021-22 academic year.

If you're a postgraduate applicant, you must hold an offer for an eligible programme, achieve a first-class degree and meet your offer conditions by the admission's deadline.

You may apply for this scholarship if you have already been awarded a different scholarship. However, in line with the terms and conditions, you can only receive one scholarship - the one with the highest value.

Application Procedure

There is no separate application process for this scholarship. You will be assessed when you apply for your chosen programme of study for the 2021-22 intake. If you are successfully offered this scholarship, you must accept your offer of admission and pay your tuition fee deposit by the deadline specified in order to receive the funding.
