This course is aimed at national and international current and future leaders from all education sectors, including administrators.
There are different ways to study this pathway. You can follow a more traditional one-year full-time or equivalent part-time route, but we also now offer a one-week summer school with follow-up distance learning opportunities, so you are able to study for the award while working full-time anywhere in the world. Students who follow the more traditional route are likely to take the first two modules listed below. Students who follow the summer school model will also study these modules, plus additional modules on strategic marketing and finance delivered by experts from Henley Business School.
Throughout the course, you will critically analyse key concepts in educational leadership and management theory and practice within the context of an ever-changing political climate and an increasing culture of both market and government accountability.

With pay scales to match other industries, job security, an excellent pension and better work-life balance, teaching is becoming one of the most sought-after professions of today. Our masters' and professional courses have allowed many teachers to gain promotion within their institutions. A number of students also continue their studies onto EdD/PhD courses to develop a career in educational research.
