Master of Science in Space Engineering

Course Description

Entirely taught in English, the MSSE programme is specifically intended to train specialized professionals able to effectively carry out the design and management of space vehicles and systems, focusing on space systems, space propulsion, space structures, aerothermodynamics, space flight dynamics and control. MSSE opens the way to professional activities in technical or managerial positions in the aerospace industry, in public and private research institutions in the aerospace field, and in industrial companies for the production of machinery and equipment where the application of space-derived technologies is especially relevant. The programme gives access to PhD programmes in Europe and abroad.

Entry Requirements

Applying international students must have completed at least three years of undergraduate education in an engineering discipline or in an applied science. Extensive undergraduate preparation in physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, mechanics, mathematics, and the foundations of engineering and is required. The Admissions Committee may also consider research papers, publications and other original work. Proof of adequate knowledge of English is required (TOEFL, IELTS or equivalent).
